7வது சைவ மாநாடு இலண்டன் 2004 Continued past triple impurities annihilated, destroyed is finite knowledge, Increased is the wisdom and united with the Feet of Siva, This is the path of Suddham - Perfect Purity. Here one attainment follows the other. First and foremost requirement of an aspirant is to remain the same person both in prosperity and in adversity by surrendering totally to Lord Siva. This is called iruvinaioppu. If this is achieved (i.e., both pain and pleasure; good and bad, beauty and ugly are treated alike), then there is the flow of Siva's grace, i.e., the aspirant realizes that Siva's grace is all pervading and he could not realize it so far because of the onslaught of the impurities. The onset of grace will pave the way for getting the blessings of the guru. Due to the guru's direct supervision and training the aspirant attains the gnana yoga samadhi, a state of blissful existence leading to a rapturous experience. In this state there will be no functioning of the three impurities and the finite intelligence will no longer be operative. Then instantly emerges the infinite knowledge known as wisdom in abundance. The aspirant will ever contemplate on the lotus Feet of Siva. This is the perfect path. Constituting the essence of Saiva Faith, religion and philosophy. The internal relationship established with Siva still has a fine conglomeration of grace, wisdom and love. The enlightened person will love Siva and His creation since His grace is the common factor. If Siva's grace is the yardstick to measure the living conditions of mankind, no caste distinction, colour contrast, racial discrimination, economic inequalities, political trumoil, religious feuds, social, towards Siva must be equally directed towards all living creatures and fellow devotees as well. A verse from Sivagnana Siddhiyaar is interesting. ஈசனுக்கு அன்பில்லார் அடியவர்க்கு அன் பில்லார் எவ்வுயிர்க்கும் அன்பில்லார் தமக்கும் அன்பில்லார் பேசுவதுஎன் அறிவில்லாப் பிணங்களைநாம் இணங்கிற் பிறப்பினிலும் இறப்பினிலும் பிணங்கிடுவர் விடுநீ ஆசையொடும் அரன் அடியார் அடியாரை அடைந்திட்டு அவர்கருமம் உன்கருமம் ஆகச்செய்து கூசிமொழிந் தருள்ஞானக் குறியில் நின்று கும்பிட்டுத் தட்டமிட்டுக் கூத்தாடித் திரியே. "They love not God, who love not His devotees; They love not others, neither do they themselves What is the good of talking about such senseless corpses? leave off their company as their union Will lead you again into births and deaths. Seek in love god's true devotees, taking Their wishes as commands, speak humbly and stand steadfast According to their gracious directions and worship and bow to them and Delight and dance" (Translation - J. M. Nallasamy Pillai) Now it is clear that though Siva is an imper- sonal Absolute in Himself, he reveals His identity out of His grace for our redemption. He is to be worshipped as a person living in every string of our nerve. All external techniques in worship etc. must be oriented towards enshrining Siva in the depth of the heart and soul. All Saiva Saints and Sages uniformly declare that in no moment we should forget the Holy Feet of Siva, the seat of His grace. In conclusion, we may categorically assert that we unnecessarily tread the path, which does not lead to salvation and also follow the fellows who really do not show the pathway to perfection. If we change our attitude and cling fast to the Holy Feet of Siva and keep Him in our Being and adore Him reverentially, certainly He will show the right path leading to devotion and cut off all the remainings of our past deeds and also rescue us from the evil influence of egotism that haunts the mind. He will reveal His tru nature and show His original form and infuse Sivathuvam into the soul of the devotee and rule over the qualified devotee eternally.
